Yoga transformed my life in countless ways and it lead me to sign up for teacher training as a way to deepen my own practice. I never imagined I would teach, but my passion for the practice brought about a deep desire to share it with others. I had three amazing teachers and leaders share their love, wisdom, dedication and support, and I graduated with tremendous gratitude. It felt right to continue to share and spread what I was so blessed to have and hold in my heart.
My favorite pose is triangle. It makes me feel a tremendous sense of stability and steadiness. It not only aligns and opens my shoulders and hips, but it also strengthens my legs and deepens my focus. My heart is open, breath steady and my vision clear.
Sirsasana ~ headstand. Partly because my transverse abdominal muscles need some strengthening and partly the fear of letting go of the story “ i can't do it “ and just letting my legs float up. It's my reminder that there is always work to be done, to enjoy the journey, embrace what is and stay focused inward. This pose teaches more about myself everytime I approach it. For that I am grateful.
Honestly, I have so many it's hard to choose. If you are looking for a great journey I highly recommend "Mutant Messages From Down Under" by Marlo Morgan I have read it several times and always walk away with something new.
